Some traditional celebrations

When a baby borns, there are several celebrations done in his/her life. Name giving ceremony. Then when girl is 5 months old or boy 6 months old,we have to celebrate another  celebration called “PASNI”( first food giving ceremony. The baby has to take almost all veriety of food. Actually he/she tastes. From that day he/she can eat food. This is one of the nice celebration for childern. After that parents and family give her/him some set of clothing as a gift. Then family prepare some game for the child. In the game he/she has to choose something. There on a plate he finds many things like rice, pen, toys, some jewllaries, books. That plate is shown to the child and the child chooses. And family predicts how the child will be in future. It is interesting. If the child chooses book, he will study lot. If  the child chooses jwellaries, the child will be interested making himself /herself beautiful. It makes family so happy. In the picture below the child is trying to select some of his interested item, and family are motivating to choose one of.

I think that this is a really sweet tradition. It sounds fun to let the baby choose objects. Well, one day your grandchildren will do this, but no babies yet. hehehehe. That will have to wait for a while.

Ma tapaiko blog dherai man parauchu. Yo ramro cha. Do you take all the photos yourself? I hope you are excited to do ceremonies like this with Mulepati/Stauffer babies some day in the future.
